Short Term Production Insurance

This type of insurance is basically for quick productions, or productions with a budget totaling less than $1,000,000 and with a total production time (pre-production, production, post-production) of 60 days. Our short-term productions insurance is available in all 50 states. This type of insurance is ideal for producers of music videos and other short productions, regardless if they are individuals, partnerships, joint ventures, LLC’s or corporations.

While this type of insurance is an all-risk type of insurance program, we do have our minimum requirements, and we don’t cover productions that:

Have stunts and fight scenes
Use pyrotechnics, guns, blanks, and squibs
Use animals, aircrafts and boats

We do however have a special program available at a higher price that would cover the above restrictions.

Also, the production to be insured must be shot only within the United States and Canada. For films produced in other countries please see our Foreign Production Package.

Our short-term productions insurance is an all-risk type of insurance program that indemnifies producers against general liability and hired and non-owned automobile liability, liabilities arising from worker's compensation and the safety of the product’s cast, crew, and volunteers.
